Gone Postal Records is proud to be celebrating Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September with the release of Hope 2017, a charity compilation album featuring five new original songs from artists such as SixxSpeed, Explord, Sound Pixel, Nawi, and Kayjay. Each of the talented young electronic music producers represented on the album as well as the label itself have pledged 100% of profits from the album to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for childhood cancer research.
Currently, 1 in every 330 children in the United States develops cancer before the age of 19. That means that each school day, enough children are diagnosed with cancer to empty two classrooms. Organizations like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital pioneer the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is ever denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family's ability to pay.
Gone Postal Records has teamed up with Bandcamp for the charity album. Bandcamp will generously be reducing their commission rate taken from each album sale in order to maximize the amount of proceeds going to St. Jude’s. The album is officially available for download exclusively from Bandcamp on Friday, September 8th, 2017.
The full album is available to download for a donation of just $5. Individual tracks from the album are available to download for a donation of just $1. Donors are permitted to name their own price for the album/tracks if they are looking to contribute more than the minimum amount. Those interested in supporting the Hope 2017 effort without purchasing the album can make their contributions on the album’s homepage at
